THE ABA IN PA INITIATIVE

Non-Profit Organization

The ABA in PA Initiative is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit advocacy organization made up of parents, industry professionals, and lawmakers dedicated to changing the future for all children in Pennsylvania with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by ensuring access to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy via Medical Assistance. See News, resources, and legislation in Pennsylvania to address the service gap for ABA.

AUTISM SPEAKS

Non-Profit Organization

Autism Speaks is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the life span, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families -- through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of people with autism; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. 

BEHAVIOR ANALYST CERTIFICATION BOARD

Non-Profit Organization

The BACB is a nonprofit corporation that was established in 1998 to meet professional certification needs identified by behavior analysts, governments, and consumers of behavior-analytic services. The BACB’s mission is to protect consumers of behavior-analytic services by systematically establishing, promoting, and disseminating professional standards of practice.

ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR ANALYSTS

Non-Profit Organization

The Association of Professional Behavior Analysts (APBA) is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote and advance the science-based practice of behavior analysis by advocating for public policies and informing, supporting, and protecting practitioners and consumers. APBA has memberships for practitioners of applied behavior analysis (ABA), other professionals, consumers of ABA services, and students.

PENN ABA

Non-Profit Organization

The Pennsylvania Association for Behavior Analysis (PennABA) seeks to promote high-quality behavior analysis in the region, maintain the scientific integrity of the discipline, and advocate on behalf of behavior analysts and consumers of behavior analysis. The Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association of Behavior Analysis (PennABA) was incorporated in 1998. With the creation of PennABA, service providers, teachers, students, and families in Pennsylvania gained a resource, which fosters the application and growth of behavior analysis.
